About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I describe myself as adventurous and romantic, strong and gentle, playful and mature, spiritual, fit, and never smoked. I'm also fairly deep, intelligent, soft-spoken, and 'sweet' (I've been told). I span a broad range, and I'd prefer someone who understands that most things can be appropriate at different times. Balance is a key quality in my life as symbolized by the yin/yang of Taoism. To provide a few specifics... I use my turn signal and don't tailgate, but I do speed. I'm a spender, not a saver, but have no debt except for a 1M mortgage on a 1M house--I live paycheck to paycheck. I'm not a neatnik but not horribly messy either. I *have* a tux but usually wear jeans. I listen to NPR in the afternoon and Stern in the morning. I love gourmet or can just as easily eat at BK but prefer anything 'interesting'; prefer many long weekends over one big trip (unless it's Italy or France!). All in all, pretty much a mixed bag of a lot of different things--nothing exceptional, just a guy--a good guy looking for a good girl I have two wonderful boys, 15 & 17, whom I love and adore; and I also appreciate my time and freedom of not *always* having them (hard for some people to understand). I've been through two marriages now: one 22yrs ago for 8yrs; then 10yrs passed before another one for 4yrs. Current status: filed, not final yet. for fun: I like to do lots of different things: wine and dining, exploring and day trips, hiking, sailing, movies, learning golf, window shopping, fairs, social cooking, snuggling (I could go on!). my job: I am gainfully employed and also an owner of a startup company--a kind of a sales tax clearinghouse. my religion: I practice Taoism which is an ancient philosophy (not a religion) that pre-dates Buddhism.
